Click on the article title for an update on the District’s plans to relocate our Middle School students to separate space at the High School in order to reunite our Grade 6-8 students with their teachers for in-person learning beginning Monday, April 8. Although we still have details to work out, the concept is to create a “school within a school” at the High School. The model will provide separate space for our Grades 6-8 students and ensures our High School students can continue to have their own academic experience.
Several years ago, the Highland Central School District created a Hall of Fame to recognize the achievements of accomplished alumni and dedicated faculty and staff, and to inspire today’s students to do great things with their educations. The annual budget vote and Board candidate election will be held on Tuesday, May 21. There are three available Board vacancies that expire on June 30, 2024. Petitions for nomination candidates are available at the Central Office between the hours of 8 AM-4 PM, Monday through Friday, except for April 22, which is open until 5 PM.
